About Us

KULNA is an independent Arab social initiative that emerges from the heart of the community. It brings together leaders, changemakers, and local influencers from towns and cities across the country into a wide, interconnected network.
Its core purpose is to build a vibrant environment for constructive dialogue and joint action—where individual capacities become a collective force capable of driving meaningful change. The initiative focuses on weaving together Arab society through knowledge-sharing, mutual support, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving. KULNA is built on a firm belief that change begins with people, and that a significant part of solving any challenge lies in what communities themselves can do—whether in improving services, raising awareness, or strengthening positive values such as trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

By building local leadership circles in every town and connecting them into a unified structure, KULNA aims to give every leader—women and men alike—a meaningful sphere of influence in their surroundings, allowing individual and local efforts to merge into a stronger, more cohesive community capable of rising from within.

Our Story

A network that transforms individual energies into a collective force that shapes reality

We are the men and women of this society from every town and city carrying within us a deep commitment to dignity, shared life, and collective action. In a time of growing challenges personal insecurity, political marginalization, and a rising sense of helplessness, we choose to respond with hope and action. We choose to turn our individual successes into a collective force. KULNA was born from the belief that change is not something granted to us; it is something we create together. Every individual achievement contains a seed for collective progress. Global experiences with broad social networks teach us that building wide circles of solidarity that transcend geography and social divisions can create new power capable of shifting the reality of marginalization and fragmentation. KULNA seeks to be such a framework: A living, organized force capable of transforming fear into action, despair into hope, and helplessness into structured collective initiative. We believe that our strength lies in our solidarity that civil dialogue and fieldwork can rebuild trust among people, turning fear into initiative and despair into coordinated civic action.

Our Vision

To see the Arab community in Israel become a living example of the power of grassroots organization transforming potential into a unified project for progress and justice.

We aspire to a society that is safe, open, democratic, engaged in local and national decision-making, and confident that its future is shaped by its own will. We believe that every personal achievement contributes to collective advancement, and that every small initiative can create real change when connected to a wide network of hope and action.

Our Strategy

We believe that effective organization requires a clear structural framework. Therefore, we will gradually develop a working charter and shared governance mechanisms that are transparent, flexible, and ensure that the organizational structure serves the collective mission and responds to the community’s needs—with full accountability to members.

من اللقاء إلى الشبكة

From gatherings to a network:

We start with regional meetings that rebuild trust, encourage participation, and stimulate joint action.
من الفكرة إلى الفعل

From ideas to action:

These gatherings evolve into active local circles in every town and city, led by local activists and leaders who open public conversations and develop practical solutions to everyday challenges.
من المحلي إلى الجماعي

From local to collective:

We connect these circles to a national network that offers tools, training, and support—including centralized digital platforms for sharing knowledge. The focus is on skills in community organizing, civic campaigning, and coalition building—turning individual efforts into a coherent force that moves the field.
من الأمل إلى التنظيم

From hope to organization:

Hope alone is not enough—organization is what transforms hope into reality. Each local circle becomes part of a wide network moving together toward shared goals, driven by hope and collective work.

Our Vision for the Future

Within a few years, we aim to build a living network stretching from the Galilee to the Negev, connecting hundreds of initiatives and thousands of activists. A network capable of defending people’s essential issues from personal safety and education to social justice restoring the community’s confidence by increasing civic participation and shifting power dynamics.
We strive for an initiative that reflects the spirit of this generation: courageous, open, and aware that its future is built by hands reaching toward one another, not by disengagement. KULNA is not a temporary campaign it is a long-term civic framework that rebuilds people’s belief that they can shape change, together.
